Barely into his 30s, Ridley has already proven himself essential to the ER. Known as the “Phantom of the Oper-a-tion”, he works exclusively 10pm-8am shifts. Incredibly driven, he lives for the rush of the shift. Indeed, he feels a little nervous when there’s enough time for to take a proper break. It’s quiet… too quiet. During breaks usually winds up checking on other staffers (younger members are always very grateful for the assistance, even if they don’t know that they are at the time).
Understandably, Ridley has some difficulty socially – women don’t all understand his need to adjust his circadian rhythms and always keeps the same schedule – Real girlfriends tend to keep the same weird hours (not necessarily for professional reason: one was always up all night because she was speed freak). Subsequently he has also missed virtually all family gatherings occurring before 5pm, As is so often the case with exceptional people, people seem sometimes entranced and sometimes put-off by his excellence – but he doesn’t have time to worry about that too much. Oh and he was Member of the Gilbert and Sullivan society at John’s Hopkins and made a very good Nanki Poo in the Mikado. Tra-la-la-la-la- lala.
