Good evening. Mr. Houtrides of the House of Houtrides (haha to those DUNE lovers) says Good evening. A man of letters, Mr. Houtrides is an enigma, a whisper on the wind – you see him like a shadow and then – just as swiftly you forget his face – is he an invisible super hero? Perhaps. Does he call himself The Disappearing Doc and use his powers of knocking people out for good around the hospital? Perhaps that too.
Prometheus loves the quiet time – when the patient is out and the Doc is out and there’s just the hum of the machinery and he’s got a good J.G. Ballard book in his pocket. Also, he hears the most interesting things while he’s got you on the slab – of course he’s not telling… for a fee! Hahahah. Ha. – Seriously though, your neighbors have some secrets. Oddity’s float in the unconscious air that surrounds the Dissapearing Doc…
He’s still waiting for proof of alien abduction to come out while some one is under. He Believes! Prometheus even saw a floating unearthy light once, but the report said it was the light from a promotional “Chili’s” balloon advertising the new “light” menu. Still that could have been a cover-up.
